The health & safety of our community is our top priority.  We’ve made some adjustments to how we operate to keep our community, clients, & team safe.

We’ve always been dedicated to the cleanliness of our studio and the health and safety of our community. Now we are going a step further in everything we typically do.

ENHANCED CLEANING PROTOCOLS

DEEP CLEANS. We will continue to have the the facility deep cleaned by a professional cleaning company on a regular basis.

DISINFECTING SURFACES & COMMON AREAS. We will clean everything in the gym with a disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19.  Every surface, doorknob, band, med ball, handle… will be sanitized – EVERYTHING.  Even if it was not in use.

 

LOCKER ROOMS & BATHROOMS. The locker rooms/bathrooms will be cleaned every hour.  A cleaning checklist will be openly displayed in each locker room showing when they were last cleaned and by whom.

 

DAILY CLEANING. Evolve will be closed from 1pm – 3pm Monday through Friday for additional cleaning.

 

WHAT THE EVOLVE TEAM WILL BE DOING. After every class and session, in addition to coaching our clients, the Evolve Team will be disinfecting and cleaning everything that was used in the previous session.  

 

HOW MEMBERS CAN HELP. You will be asked to wipe down every piece of equipment you use after your workout.  Your help is essential in this effort. There are several disinfecting stations and hand sanitizers stations located throughout the gym for your use.
 

SAFETY PROTOCOLS: FOR YOU AND THE EVOLVE TEAM

 
HEALTH CHECK

 

THE STAFF HEALTH CHECK. All Evolve team members will answer a series of Covid-19 health questions along with having their temperature checked prior to starting their shifts.

 

YOUR HEALTH CHECK. Upon entering facility, we will ask you several Covid-19 health questions, take your temperature. Anyone with temperature above 100.4 will not be allowed to train.

 

HEALTH DECLARATION.  Prior to the start of your first appointment, you must sign a Health Declaration stating that you agree to the health and safety parameters put in place by our governments.

 

MASKS & GLOVES. All Evolve team members will wear gloves and a mask while they are in the studio. PLEASE NOTE: It may be required for our members to wear a mask and/or, gloves.  If so, please bring your own to the session.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

 

THE GYM. The gym will be divided into three (3) main areas. The Turf, the Free-Weights Section and the Cardio Suite.  PLEASE NOTE: In order to reduce every possible risk, and to practice social distancing, we have place restrictions on the number of people allowed in each section at one time

 

YOUR PERSONAL SPACE. During a session, you will have your own dedicated private space to work out.

 

YOUR EQUIPMENT. You will not share equipment with anyone during the workout.  You’ll gather your equipment at the start of your session and that’s what you’ll use the duration of your session.  It’s very important that when you put any piece of equipment back to its storage space that it’s sanitized and wiped vigorously.

 

We will temporarily NOT be using the following equipment in the initial phase: yoga props, mats, slide board, metabolic and VO2 testing equipment.

 

DISINFECTING. You will vigorously wipe down anything used when finished. There is an ample supply of disinfectant.

 

THE COACHING ALLEY. All Coaches will instruct from a safe distance of at least 6 feet away from all members, in what we call the Coaching Alley.

CHECKING IN

 

SCHEDULING. All sessions should be scheduled on-line or via phone.  We will not be staffing the front desk initially.

 

YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. We recommend arriving no more than 5 minutes prior to your appointment. Hanging out before/after your appointment is discouraged at this time.

 

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATIONS BY THE DEADLINE. Due to the restrictions on capacity we will be strictly enforcing our cancellation/no-show policy—please remember to cancel 24hrs prior to your appointment.

 

LATE ENTRIES. 5 minutes after the scheduled start of a class or session the gyms door closes, you will be marked as a NO-SHOW and we won’t be able to let you in.

HIGH-TOUCH AMENITIES & SERVICES

 

TOWELS. Please bring your own towel as we will temporarily not be supplying towels.

 

MATS. You should bring your own mat if you wish to do any exercise that would require lying down on the floor.

SHOWER FACILITIES. Shower facilities will remain closed in the beginning stages.

 

RECOVERY SERVICES.  All recovery services will be temporarily halted in the beginning stages.  This includes Cryotherapy, Compression Therapy and Massage.

 

WATER FOUNTAIN (EMERGENCY USE ONLY). We strongly urge you to bring your own water or purchase one from the gym.

 

JUICE BAR. The Juice bar will temporarily be closed.  Nutritional supplements and drinks will still be available for purchase.

RETAIL. Our retail collection will still be available, but we ask that you avoid touching items as much as possible.
 
RETAIL RETURNS. We won’t be allowing customers to try items on before buying, but will still accept returns. If a customer does return an item, we won’t put it back on the floor until deemed safe by apparel industry standards.

 

PERSONAL ITEMS. Please refrain from bringing anything but essential items into the gym such as your keys, a wallet, asthma inhaler etc.  The lockers rooms are closed except for the restrooms and cubby space in the front is limited. Non-essential items are not permitted on the main floor.

SHOES. We strongly encourage members to train at Evolve without shoes for two reasons: (1) Improved functionality when training. (2) Reduction of outdoor contaminants being brought into the gym.  We understand that training without shoes is not everyone’s cup of tea, in that case we ask that you bring a separate pair of sneakers, dedicated to training, to put on when in the gym.

MEMBER RESPONSIBILTY: KEEPING EACH OTHER SAFE

 

We have taken a lot of time and energy to put these changes in place.  We are confident our new protocols will be effective if we all do our part.

 

We ask that all members who come to Evolve practice respect and thoughtfulness for each other.  Please go above and beyond for the next group to come in.  We will do our part to do so, and we ask that you do too.

 

Please practice social distancing, please limit person-to-person contact.  We love to give high fives, but due to the guidelines of the government that are in place, we ask that at this time, we do not make contact.  We will encourage each other from a safe distance!

 

If you feel unwell, have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, as listed below, please stay home & we will happily reschedule your session.  We ask you do not come to the gym until your symptom-free and fever-free for three days.

 

WATCH FOR SYMPTOMS

 

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness.  Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

 

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fever

  • Chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Sore throat

  • New loss of taste or smell

 

This list is not all possible symptoms. Other less common symptoms have been reported, including gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

 

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the gym for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.

 

Though this may seem like a lot at the first glance, but once you get back to the gym and feel our famous Evolve energy… you will be “right at home”.  We are confident that together we will keep Evolve the place we love & feel safe!

MOVING FORWARD: OUR PROMISE TO YOU

 

We are taking every precaution we can to keep our team and community safe and we highly recommend you do the same.  We are keeping up to date with the guidelines laid out by the government.  We are fully aware that there may be a second wave of Covid-19, and we are fully prepared.

 

If there is a reported case of COVID-19 at Evolve and you may have been in contact with that individual, you will be notified IMMEDIATELY. We’ll take the appropriate safety precautions to disinfect the entire facility.

 

We are prepared and ready to respond as the situation evolves, no pun intended.  We keep your safety and health in our best interest.
