Nerissa Aschoff presents Dance Strength & Technique

~hone your dance technique or simply improve your movement ability~

The Class: Each one-hour class in this 12-week session will have a unique focus on an element of movement to enhance your dance training and abilities. Primarily using the foundations of classical ballet, the classes incorporate strength and cardiovascular exercises from a variety of dance genres to realign, strengthen, and stretch the body as well as improve muscle endurance.

The Instructor: Nerissa Aschoff is a barre fitness instructor and children’s dance enrichment instructor. Her formal dance training began in classical ballet at the New Jersey School of Ballet in the 1980s, where she performed in the annual production of The Nutcracker. Nerissa continued her training in various genres at the Broadway Dance Center while working in finance in NYC. She runs, practices yoga, thrives on high-intensity interval training, and of course loves to dance. Nerissa has two daughters, ages 12 and 14.

The Attire: black leggings or dance shorts, leotard or form-fitting top, bare feet or non-skid socks, hair secured away from the face and neck (ponytail, bun, headband)


Rate is $260 for the 12-week session, payable by cash or check to Nerissa Aschoff.

Nonrefundable upon completion of week two.

10% discount for children of Evolve members, sibling registration, or registration in more than one class.

Please bring a water bottle. Mats are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Classes Start week of September 24th

Monday 3:50-4:50 pm Ages 10-13

Monday 6:15-7:15 PM. Ages 14-17

Friday 4-5 pm. Ages 10-13

Friday 5-6 pM. Ages 14-17



Saturday, September 8, 11:45am to 12:30pm

Cost: $10 per student

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check- in, meet the instructor, and check out the studio. The above attire is recommended for the preview class. Registration for the fall session opens September 1.
